Springbank Covid -19 Rules and Assurances

Bring your own containers for U-pick.  

Currently our u-pick, bathrooms, and picnic areas are available only to residents of Linn, Benton, Lane and Deschutes counties.   We look forward to another season when all visitors can linger on the farm.  Picked fruit is available to everyone and our blueberries are available at the PSU and King Farmers' Markets and stores in Portland. 

Thank you for supporting our farm.  Please help us help you by:

  • Going home and coming another time if you don’t feel well.
  • Sanitizing your hands upon arrival.
  • Maintaining six feet distance between yourself and others in all common areas.
  • Wearing a mask around the parking areas and barn space if possible.
  • Leaving your dog at home. Our limited shady areas to park are reserved for seniors.
  • U-pickers bringing their own containers, we do have boxes if you forgot
  • Due to social distancing and sanitation requirements, all our seating is reserved for our staff. Our shady picnic area is open. Please pack in and pack out all your picnic wares and garbage.
  • Minimizing contact with surfaces in the barn and around the farm.
  • Keeping your children with you at all times.

To minimize the spread of germs we will:

  • Sanitize our counters between each customer
  • Clean our bathrooms every three hours and offer a restroom for the public separate from our staff restroom
  • Maintain social distancing amongst our employees
  • Require frequent hand washing/sanitizing from our staff
  • Conduct temperature checks at the start of each workday
  • Provide Each employee with their own equipment

Remember Covid-19 is spread primarily through people, not food.  Please follow our requirements, so that we can continue to offer the local bounty and share the peace of the farm with our community.

About Our Blueberries

Organic Blueberries

All year we look forward to enjoying fresh blueberries in the summer and re-stocking our frozen supplies so we can have them daily in our yogurt, ice cream, pancakes and muffins, and just by themselves. In season, the farm swells with a flurry of U-pick activity for people who like to come out and share the joy of picking on our beautiful riverfront farm. We will also pick berries to order. Either way, ordering early is strongly encouraged because when they’re ripe they go quickly. We also offer frozen fruit throughout the year in case you run out! Just call or email!

We have three children and mostly enjoy participating with them in the journey that is life on the farm.

We hire a nice mix of everyone and a lot of youth during harvest.  See our Jobs page for more info.

Located just two miles east of the city limits of Lebanon, Oregon, the farm enjoys the beauty and seclusion provided by the bordering waters of the South Santiam River and Hamilton Creek. The property features panoramic views, forests, wildlife, diverse tree and plant life, and particularly diverse bird life, including bald eagles, kestrels, herons, owls, wild turkeys, ducks, geese, pheasant, quail, and numerous others.

With a strong focus on selling our fruit locally, we are pleased to offer blueberries to restaurants, retailers, and institutions. We are especially proud of our growing relationships with local schools and hospitals, and consider it our personal mission to ensure that Springbank Farm blueberries are available fresh and frozen to our local community. Early ordering is encouraged, and delivery is available. We have 3 acres of early fruit, 6 acres of mid-season, and 3 acres of late mid-season. With 7 varieties, there are several flavor profiles and characteristics from which to choose. Just ask us for details.
