Springbank Covid -19 Rules and Assurances

Bring your own containers for U-pick.  

Currently our u-pick, bathrooms, and picnic areas are available only to residents of Linn, Benton, Lane and Deschutes counties.   We look forward to another season when all visitors can linger on the farm.  Picked fruit is available to everyone and our blueberries are available at the PSU and King Farmers' Markets and stores in Portland. 

Thank you for supporting our farm.  Please help us help you by:

  • Going home and coming another time if you don’t feel well.
  • Sanitizing your hands upon arrival.
  • Maintaining six feet distance between yourself and others in all common areas.
  • Wearing a mask around the parking areas and barn space if possible.
  • Leaving your dog at home. Our limited shady areas to park are reserved for seniors.
  • U-pickers bringing their own containers, we do have boxes if you forgot
  • Due to social distancing and sanitation requirements, all our seating is reserved for our staff. Our shady picnic area is open. Please pack in and pack out all your picnic wares and garbage.
  • Minimizing contact with surfaces in the barn and around the farm.
  • Keeping your children with you at all times.

To minimize the spread of germs we will:

  • Sanitize our counters between each customer
  • Clean our bathrooms every three hours and offer a restroom for the public separate from our staff restroom
  • Maintain social distancing amongst our employees
  • Require frequent hand washing/sanitizing from our staff
  • Conduct temperature checks at the start of each workday
  • Provide Each employee with their own equipment

Remember Covid-19 is spread primarily through people, not food.  Please follow our requirements, so that we can continue to offer the local bounty and share the peace of the farm with our community.

Pricing & Details:

 ½ share:  1/2 flats weigh 5 pounds and are $22 each for CSA members, normally $24.  Starting July 11 or 12 for 5 weeks

Full share: flats weigh 10 pounds and are $36 each for CSA members, normally $38.  Starting July 11 or 12 for 5 weeks

Double share: 2 flats that weigh 10 pounds and are $36 each for CSA members, normally $38.  Starting July 11 or 12 for 5 weeks

FAQ’s for all participants…

That’s fine, by making a commitment to your local farmer you are providing the certainty we need to keep our local food channels viable.  It’s a good deed you do for yourself, your farmer, and the entire community. If you can't make it, just let us know with two days notice.  (Please note that by joining our CSA membership you are committing to be at the drop most days each week.)  We will email you a voucher with a credit for the same amount you missed.  We will be at the market with frozen berries if our fresh season is over. 

Yes. We are also doing Monday and Friday drops and will inform you about the most convenient drop for the most people signed up in your area.  Sign up for your share on our website and let us know where you are located.  We have an ongoing partnership with New Seasons Markets and you can find our berries there too.  

The season starts off with Duke which are big and sweet, from then on we usually have 2-3 options available.  You can add variety requests in the notes field of the signup sheet and we will do our best to match you up.   

Yes.  Sign up ahead of time for the one time bulk order and we will bring you lots of what you want, when you want it, with discount pricing available on quantities of  4 flats or more.

Yes! Several. You can make one, two, or three payments for your berries.

Also, if you qualify for SNAP you can use your DUFB vouchers on your CSA share or prepay bulk sales. You will pay for the first pickup for the price of your goods for the first week in full and then you can pay as you go and use whatever available DUFB on your CSA.  

We will offer grace to our committed community whenever possible, but if you don’t show up or call and we don’t sell your fruit to someone else, we cannot offer a credit voucher.

Yes, we should be able to bring boatloads of blueberries to market with plenty for everyone.  Current times have brought a little uncertainty to the market and we are not accepting prepayment on pint quantities.

Sure.  You can do that too. We will have your info at our booth and you can grab and go.  Bulk pricing discounts apply to CSA members and orders over 40 lbs.

We will still be at the PSU(Saturday), King(Sunday) and Corvallis(Saturday) Markets and you can also find our berries at New Seasons Markets.
